What are ZUMA ALTIN eye drops?

The innovative combination of four active substances contained in ZUMA ALTIN drops; ectoine, sodium hyaluronate, fucoidan and Perilla frutescens, effectively relieve inflammation caused by allergens.

What is ZUMA ALTIN eye drops used for?

ZUMA ALTIN drops help to prevent and also support the treatment of symptoms of seasonal and chronic allergic conjunctivitis. They soothe irritations, moisturize and support conjunctival regeneration.

When should you use ZUMA ALTIN eye drops?

ZUMA ALTIN drops should be used for eye irritation caused by allergens, e.g. plant pollen, dust mites, animal dander or mold. Thanks to the unique combination of four active substances, the drops not only intensively moisturize, but also quickly relieve the bothersome symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis (i.e. redness, itching, burning or watery eyes).

How do the active ingredients of ZUMA ALTIN eye drops work?

Ectoine is a natural substance produced in the fermentation process by microorganisms called extremophiles.Extremophils are organisms that live and are able to survive in extremely hostile environmental conditions (salt lakes, geysers, volcano craters).Extremophils, by producing ectoine, change the composition of lipids in cell membranes and create a natural protective barrier against the effects of harmful factors, e.g. allergens.Ectoine is an osomoprotective substance, it provides protection to epithelial cells, stabilizing cell membranes, moisturizes the eye surface and reduces local inflammation. In addition, it stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film, protecting against excessive evaporation of tears.

Fucoidin - is a polysaccharide that is found in seaweed (brown algae). It is thanks to her that the seaweed does not dry up during the outflow and do not die under the influence of the sun. The mucus they are covered with also provides them with comprehensive protection against the harmful effects of external factors. Fucoidin consists of fucose molecules - a unique carbohydrate that plays a key role in cell regenerative processes. Fucoidin also works well in ophthalmology. Its regenerative, moisturizing and antioxidant properties are effective in the prevention of eye diseases.
Sodium hyaluronate - is a viscoelastic liquid having hygroscopic properties and playing many important roles in the human body. It is a naturally occurring lubricant consisting of a biocompatible polysaccharide that has excellent water retention properties. Sodium hyaluronate has the property of creating a stable moisturizing film on the surface of the eye and is resistant to leaching.

Perilla (Perilla frutescens) - is a herbaceous plant originating in Asia. Active ingredients present in Perilla, especially α-linolenic and rosemary acid, have anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is also a good source of polyphenols that exhibit antioxidant activity effective in the prevention of eye diseases.

How much to use ZUMA ALTIN eye drops?

Adults and children over 6 years of age are recommended to instill 1 drop 3 times a day into the conjunctival sac of each eye.With severe ailments, you can apply more often.

How to use ZUMA ALTIN eye drops?

ZUMA ALTIN eye drops should be used only externally to the conjunctival sac.

1. Prior to administering the preparetion wash hands thoroughly.
2. Remove the cap and apply into the eye. Do not touch the surface of the eye with dropper tip.
3. Tilt your head back slightly
4. Hold the bottle face down (vertically)
5. Pull your lower eyelid down slightly, pressing the bottle, squeeze one drop into the conjunctival sac.
6. Close your eyelids and apread a drop across the eye surface by moving the eyeball.
7. Repeat the same activities for the other eye
8. Put the protective cap on the dropper after use. During applying, be careful not to touch the surface of the eye and eyelid with the tip of the dropper.
9. After applying the drops, do not rinse the surface of the eye with water or any other liquid.

When ZUMA ALTIN eye drops are contraindicated?

• Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to any of its components.
• If an allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use.

Composition: ectoine, fucoidan, sodium hyaluronate, perilla (Perilla frutescens), boric acid, sodium tetraborate, sodium chloride, highly purified water.

How to store ZUMA ALTIN eye drops?

• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Keep away from sources of heat.
• Store in a dry place at a temperature of 5°C to 35°C.
• Do not use the product after the expiration date printed on the package.
• Do not use for more than 90 days of first opening.
• Discard any unused solution.

Warnings and precautions:

• The preparetion is intended for external use only.
• Do not use if package is damaged.
• Never touch your eye or any other surface with the tip of the dropper, this may contaminate the solution.

• Other ophtalmic solutions can be given only after 15 minutes from the application of ALTIN eye drops.

• The preparation should be administered last
• The reusable medical device should be used by one patient.
